The Invention Of Morel ([info]august32nd) wrote in [info]brampton,
i'm writing something about brampton. how many fake lakes are there? i've got these ones:

professor's lake
heart lake
chinguacousy park
the one at bovaird and dixie
the one at vodden and laurelcrest
the one near queen and west drive
that new one where the gravel pit used to be

i know there's more, so i need help in listing them all. by "lake", i mean any body of water, as long as it's been artificially created by our forefathers and soccermothers. thanks!

Contact the Parks Dept. at 905-874-2609. They have all of that stuff on file and can email, fax or mail you the information you need.

No its not! It use to be a gravel pit in the 60's and they just turned it into a lake when they built Bramalea.

The body of water at Norton Place park is pretty man made.
